DTC Travel is a British owned and managed, Thai registered company operating in Bangkok since 1995. We specialize in both inbound and outbound travel services for clients in Thailand, throughout South East Asia and, via our website, from all over the world.

Tom Bishop, Managing Director
As a 22-year resident of Bangkok, and with more than 30 years of experience in the travel business worldwide, Tom's overseas work history includes charter airline offices, travel agencies and travel clubs in Canada, USA and Britain.
Having traveled extensively in Australia, Europe, Asia, America and, of course, every nook and cranny in Thailand, Tom has a vast knowledge of the travel business and understands the needs of the traveler -- from the international businessman to the budget vacationer. With an almost photographic memory, and as a self-described "ferro-equinologist", Tom is who you turn to for timetable information, rail esoterica and which restaurant in Alice Springs serves the best vegetarian food.
Tom, who was born in the UK, is also a frequent contributor to several travel publications, including the Travel Trade Report Weekly (TTR), and has written travel articles and travel tips for ethailand.com, Guide of Bangkok, Bangkok Lifestyle, Hua Hin Observer and groovymap.com. His podcast "The Travel Bishop" program on internet Radiobangkok.net has devoted listeners throughout the world. Tom has also served as Chair of the Travel and Tourism committee for the British-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
